Omaha North High Magnet School holds dedication ceremony for the its new Engineering, Science and Technology Addition. Seven years ago, North High students created a design for a new addition. The student’s project turned out to be the foundation of the school’s Engineering, Science and Technology Addition. Omaha North High financed the $8 million project with private donations.

“We are honored to have been chosen to work on this project. Vrana Construction constructed a major addition to North High in the 90’s and to be part of this major addition which will be Nebraska’s first school to be built under LEED for School design is a special honor.” said Charles Vrana, President of Vrana Construction.
RDG Planning & Design was the architect for the project. Site and structural engineering was done by Thompson, Dreessen & Dorner, and the mechanical and electrical engineering was done by Alvine & Associates.
